Rock hopping worked if you could tell there was a rock under the ice. There are no snow bridges. Better to avoid the crossings and take the snowmobile bridges |

Bare booted to the stream crossing. Only 2" of powder over ice or ground. Higher up 4-8" of snow so the shoes went on. About 20 hikers today all but 3 wearing snowshoes. Trail is in great shape. |
