Parking lot was not plowed, so I spent 10 minutes with my hatchback breaking trail. Funny to watch a massive SUV show up and decline the challenge. Right before the lot there is a road that leads to an electrical station. It's plowed but there is a sign that says no parking. |

No problem crossing Drakes Brook on either trail. |

I was the first car in the lot at 9am, but another car came before I set out. I decided to start with Drakes Brook Trail, hoping the other party would break out Sandwich Mountain Trail, but they followed me. I broke trail for the rest of the day except for Jennings Peak, which they visited and then returned via Drakes Brook Trail. One person was in snowshoes, the other was in spikes and postholing. Some ice patches on Sandwich Mountain Trail and the Jennings Peak spur require care.
