 | Comments: |
Evening hike of these two w/ the hope of catching sunset. Unfortunately, neither summit is as west facing as we’d thought. Sun was just behind the trees. Our group was half snowshoes and half in spike. Snowshoers in the front and back of group so trail is well packed up Morgan and over the Percival. On the steep sections the ice is hard and fast. Those in spikes weren’t getting much grip and really could’ve used stronger traction. All in all maybe a half dozen butt landings. Trail should be in decent shape just take care on the icy sections. |
