Long, but wonderful hike. Trails well-packed.
Although that extra 3 1/2 mile of Zealand Road was a pleasant warmup, it was like the Lincoln Woods Death March on the way back. Thank God I had the pleasure of resting my feet and warming up my body, inside Zealand Hut, where I drank hot chocolate (one buck a cup) and sat, writing, on a table. Although it was only for an hour, it made a big difference.
