Comments
Comments: Nice day for these peaks. Widely varying new totals over what seemed like a solid base. Approx 2.5" until CD trail and depth was 5-7" of unbroken powder with drifts much deeper Ascending towards Zeta Pass snow levels dropped back down. Ascending to the Dome is where the fun began.. Incredible sustained drifts and sidehilling throughout. This was a tough stretch. The thoughts of Mt Hight quickly went away after breaking this stretch. i met a hiker on his way to the Wildcats while descending as well as 2 others barebooting. Did the best to smooth over trail on way back to Zeta Pass. Carter Moriah over to South and Middle was unbroken and had similar varying snow depth as well as moderate drifting throughout. N Carter trail hadn't seen any traffic today either as well as Imp Trail and Camp Dodge Cutoff. I crossed paths with 8 others today and was nice briefly chatting with all of them. Today marks #47 of 48 Single Season Winter 48. Hoping to complete next week on Mt Cabot
