| Lost and Found: |
I found a huge pile of gear at treeline on Skookumchuck Trail, near the junction with Garfield Ridge Trail. It includes a backpack, some nice clothing, personal items, and keys (!!). Please email me at h.c.desmarais@gmail.com with a description of what you left behind and I'll get it back to you. It looks like it belongs to a young person and I'd like it to find its way back home. |

Great snow conditions, currently all packed down by many snowshoe-users but I don't expect this to last past tomorrow since it's supposed to be warm and rainy. Above treeline it's wind-scoured down to rock with mixed ice, not great for snowshoes. I didn't go to the actual summit but would recommend microspikes or crampons (for people uncomfortable with ice) above treeline. |
