| Comments: |
Turned out to be treated with great conditions this morning! OPB is a sidewalk, more ice above the krum after the hut, and then the ridge is mixed drifts, ice, bare rock. We switched from shoes to crampons after the hut. After the summit, rock spikes would have been way better. Falling Waters was a pleasant descent. Not sure how useful this will be after tomorrow's assault - hoping not too much damage is done. Good luck Matt on your PCT! |
