Comments
Comments: Light rain this morning kept things soft initially. Trail was mostly blue ice from heavy foot traffic, and spring snow, with a few exposed rocks near the two viewpoints. A few areas of slight ice monorail, but not particularly prominent. Woods are still mostly snow covered with a few exposed tree wells.

Snow started around 10:30 this morning. With the blue ice still soft, it seemed like it was bonding to it to an extent, so hopefully the conditions improve.

Snowshoes provided adequate traction this morning. I wouldn't want to attempt with Microspikes (Hillsounds would have been okay). With snow picking up as of lunch time, snowshoes will be the way to go tomorrow.
