Comments
Comments: Winslow Trail (Ascent), Barlow trail (Descent)

Arrived ~8:15am at Winslow State Park. Gate closed and road past park gate unplowed. ~1-2 inches fresh powder on road to trailhead.

Ascended via Winslow - trail unbroken, ~2-3 inches powder. Trail easy to follow.

Descended via Barlow - trail unbroken. Similar conditions as Winslow. Top .5 miles or so had deeper snow.

Used microspikes, though snowshoes would've been helpful near the top, especially on Barlow. We were the first two on the trail that day, though we saw, perhaps, 10 other people behind us. I imagine that the trail will be packed now (late afternoon, 3/13) so that microspikes will be more than sufficient until the next snow.
