Comments
Comments: The trail was beautiful. We went up and over Liberty to Flume as an out-and-back to avoid the slide. Packed powder, saw a handful of other hikers in snowshoes, but we were fine in our Hillsound spikes. Snowshoes may have been easier between Flume and Liberty, where the snow was still packed down but softer. Crystal clear views from both peaks. There is one water crossing on the way up Liberty that still has a stable snow bridge, and a few more smaller crossings that you can easily hop over. Highly suggest as a winter hike!
