Comments
Comments: Virtual full snow cover remains after last night's rain (apart from tree wells and the final south-facing pitch up South Peak), though Saturday's snow (only a few inches here) is now gone.

I considered barebooting this heavily booted trail, but opted for light snowshoes. A returning hiker quickly commented unprompted that they wish they had them too. Trails were soft and barebooters were sinking in a few inches and spinning their tires. Snowshoes floated and gripped well. Still ideal until we have more melting (or snow).
