First car at 9:30, only car at 1:30. Many ruts at the beginning of the entrance road, parking lot towards the kiosk is getting muddy. |

One large blowdown roughly 1,000 feet from the summit if doing a counter-clockwise loop.
Depending on your height it's either a bent over walk under or a walk around. |

Found a snow basket for a trekking pole, left it at the kiosk and posted on Lost and Found White Mountains |

I wore MSR Lightning Ascent snowshoes. It's crampons were very helpful on the steep ice.
If I didn't have those I would have used Hillsound Trail Crampton Pro. Some the steep icy
spots may be too much for normal microspikes.
If you're looking to do Hedgehog, I would just wait a couple weeks. |
