Never mind the trail itself. Mud season is here, with deep ruts and much water on road. 2WD cars better stay on paved roads. 4WD must be a high truck, or you will bottom out and be helpless to drive it without digging. 4WD truck MAY get there, but you'll tear up the road worse than it already is. Best to hike elsewhere until after the road up to the summer parking is opened by DOT, about another month. There, you've now had fair warning. |
