Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The snowbridges are OUT. We crossed the water crossing that you would hit 0.5 in coming from the lakes trails and had to go through in thigh deep cold water. Yummyyyyy. As for the North side, the entire trail was a water crossing North of the waterfalls, as the stream was running underneath the trail for at least 2 miles.

Comments
Comments: Relatively disastrous hike to attempt in mid march, but excellent character building. Coming up from the Stinson Lake side was OKAY, but the other side should really not be done until the snow is gone because it is extremely hazardous with the snow covered brook that runs for the top 2 or so miles of the trail. Ended up with bruised shins because of the post holes. The Stinson Lake side would probably be a great hike in better conditions, but I would recommend only doing the North facing side if you're trying to trace the Whites or you just hate yourself.
