| Comments: |
Falling Waters had some sketchy parts the well-known spots that some people may want to have more than just micro spikes but I did it in Hillsounds without any issue. The Ridge Trail was a mixture of ice, some packed down drifts and bare ground. Easily traversed. Lower part of old Bridle Path was starting to get mushy on descent. There wasn't any sketchiness over the more steep portions of the trail below the hut. If you're looking for winter conditions, hurry up because the snow won't last. due to the Melt, I expect water levels to be up but with care, no problem to cross. |
