 | Lost and Found: |
I found a bluetooth speaker at the summit, it powered on, so it probably hadn't been there for all that long. I packed it out .. if it's yours, please email me with some details about the item and we'll figure out a way to connect. |

Not a bunch to add to Del's post from earlier today (who evidently I met on SRR as he was finishing he hike), but I did want to post this report mainly to highlight the Lost & Found note above.
I barebooted the roadwalks (mix of dry ground and sections of ice/hardpack), then Hillsounds for the out/back on the trail portions. Flats were initially a mix of ice and bare ground (mud sections are still well covered), then continuous snowpack once the real ascent starts, with sidewalk-like conditions in most sections. At higher elevation on the switchbacks there are some sections where the trail's snowpack is highly angled and there is a narrow shelf to walk across .. I slipped a few things but nothing too bad. Great day for this peak with great trail conditions. :) |
