Comments
Comments: Barebooted Peek Path until junction with Mount Crescent Trail. Spikes went on then and stayed on until the same spot upon return.

All trails have quite a bit of ice on them. Luckily it was warm enough that my spikes got good grip without issue.

Starting at the South Lookout, there was a lot of VERY recent moose activity. I think I counted at least 20 piles of scat, along with fresh postholes. Based on the hoof print size, it looks like it was a calf. No idea how I didn’t hear or see it, as I must have been right behind where it was going. Lost the prints right before the beginning of the steep descent down Crescent Ridge Trail.
