Comments
Comments: Yesterday's snow did this trail some good, but the ice and exposed rock still made for slow going up North Hancock. South Hancock was slidable but there were too many places where there was too much ice to allow for speed control. I slid down more because it was safer than walking and falling, but it wasn't what I'd call fun sliding. Snow at lower elevations was sticky, but the water crossings meant that microspikes were a better choice than snowshoes overall.
