| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
room for 10-12 cars between the signs, parked head in at an angle if folks are considerate in the way that they park. after that, 10 -12 cars were parked along the road, some on both sides, which I didn't think was allowed, but it doesn't seem to be enforced. |

A speedy quick trip up and down for my 8th time summiting Moosilauke, but only 6 count for the grid. the winds (40 mph?) on Saturday were the strongest I've ever felt on any summit. not scary, but takes a lot of effort to stay upright. we started early and stayed in spikes the whole day. brought hillsound pro trail crampons, but not needed. snowshoes stayed in car. trail was nice and firm in the morning. soft and slushy in spots in the afternoon where the sun shines. we were #7 & 8 on the way up, passed dozens of people on our way back down. |
