Very many times on the Frenchman's summit, but never via Shookumchuck. Very nice, lost count of different forest zones. Easy moderate trip of 10m +/-. Interestingly, no blazes, so lower sections might be tricky in winter. Excellent views, of course; only saw 3 people on the trail, with 10-20 on summit.
