For such a short hike this one packs more of a punch than I expected! Quick but steep up Chippewa. Almost all of the trail was bone dry or avoidable ice patches but in the last less than tenth of a mile you’ll need spikes. It felt silly throwing them on for such a short amount of time but the ice becomes too treacherous at that point to go without. |
