| Comments: |
Aside from a few areas of glare ice on the lower part of Falling Waters, as well as some patchy exposed rock on the ridge, the hike was a well-packed sidewalk pretty much the entire way. Light traction was the way to go. Excellent weather conditions all day as well- mild temps and little to no wind, even above treeline. It was overcast all day, but the cloud deck was high, so the ridge was in the clear. Almost didn’t do this hike, but I’m glad I did, especially before it gets throngs of hikers in the coming weeks. |
