there's about a dozen blow downs that either are duck unders, step over, climb over, or go around, on both loops.. |

The first section of the trail was a frozen ice monorail..used micros..after junction ice became sporatic and off they came..took the counter clockwise route this time..some tricky ice patches with lots of bare ground; nice views from summit area..below summit more frozen snow and ice, micros reccomended though it may change soon..after East Ledges, same until into open hardwood..no others out there today.. |
