 | Comments: |
A beautiful Spring hike of Mt Cabot and a short bushwhack over to the talus field for incredible views. Barebooted until the intersection of old Mt Cabot trail with a mix of bare ground, thin monrail, granular snow.then switched to micros. a nice track still remains above this point to the summit. Snowshoes only came along for the bushwhack over a generally nice solid snowpack. Trails were much softer on return trip as the sun warmed things up. It was nice crossing paths and chatting with two very inspiring hiking legends out there today as well as the three others i met enjoying this beautiful day |
