Comments
Comments: Amazing day on trail. Conditions were as perfect as they get in April. No ice luge like I'd read about as it was all soft enough to spike. Used my rock spikes from about 1/2 mile in back to the same spot on the way out. LOTS of melt today. Above treeline is lots of rocks and some remaining snow and ice. Honestly could've bare booted Madison, but didn't want to have to think that hard. Definitely wanted the spikes for Adams, however. Ran into 1 guy descending below the hut and one guy ascending when I was about 1.5 miles from the car on my way out. Otherwise there was NO ONE up there. Simply stunning day!
