I bushwhacked from the hight of land on Bolles trail up the northeast ridge to Paugus and then took Beeline to loop with Chocorua and Sister. I needed snowshoes higher up on the Paugus bushwhack. Light traction did the job on Chocorua because the monorail was stable. Some fairly thick going, but the woods were dry in the morning. |
