| Comments: |
A bluebird afternoon for these peaks. Stony Brook trail mostly snow/ice free until approximately 2500 feet where a consistent supportive track remains. The ledges on CM are mostly clear. supportive track remains in wooded sections. The chute heading up to summit is slick with softening ice and snow. i avoided this by climbing the rocks to the right. Micros on approximately 1/4 mile beyond the summit descending. Several stretches of softening ice flows and a continued supportive track.Back to bareboots at approximately 2700 feet. Trail is completely snow free below Mt Surprise. |
