Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: This hike has several water crossings. All are running very full right now. I was able to rock hop all of these but had to use rocks that were slightly covered with water.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of blowdowns overall with several new since last week. Most are easily either stepped over or around. One that is just below the junction of Slippery Brook, Bald Face Knob, and Eastman Mountain Trails was much more difficult.

Comments
Comments: Started out in light rain which changed to snow when I got up a bit higher. The trail was clear lower down but snow-covered starting about the last water crossing. Much more snow than last week. The snow was a light crust over firmer packed snow below. I bare-booted with no problems. This included Eastman Mountain trail which was much softer last week. I used spikes on the way down but they kept balling up with the sticky snow. Met one hiker going up. I think that he might have had better weather and views on top than I did.
