 | Comments: |
IMO, Manning trail beneath the ledges should be re-routed as it follows the fall line and is quite eroded. In many spots its rocks and roots that have had the dirt washed away as it comes straight down the hill in several spots. The upper section is great as it and the Mowglis go over all the open ledges. The Mowglis could use a couple more paint blazes and cairns
Very brisk and glad I had my shell. Snow on the steep descent in spots on Mowglis necessitated glissading in spots. First time here for me. Missed with the Holt Clark connector left the junction with the ski trail and ended up climbing the ski trail to its intersection with the Clark Trail. Sku trail had less snow on it so did not put Micro]s on until I was on the Clark. Going down Manning in some spots of the upper parts was snowy enough to put spikes on and off a few times. |
