Comments
Comments: microspikes are essential for the long ice sections around the waterfalls in the first section, very helpful on the slushy snow/ice on the switchbacks. And boots too! -- saw a lot of people in hiking sneakers, but it was cold enough to get very uncomfortable in wet feet.
