Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Ferncroft was really busy for a weekday, I mean Passaconaway and Whiteface? I guess the 4ks are popular every time now. Hence me and Shay on the 52wav most of the time.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None to worry about
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Many blowdowns for the length of the hike. Step-overs, duck-unders, trail blockers the full gamete.I did run into a nice guy and his dog in the valley and he was actually there to remove blowdowns. Shay enjoyed meeting his dog, hopefully Shay wasn't to much, he is a bruiser, lol.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy dog trail, Shay did great jumping blowdowns and he remembered every detour I took on the way back down, smart freaking dog.
Bugs
Bugs: I saw a few flying around, they didn't bug me, so I had no problem with them.

Comments
Comments: I really enjoyed these trails, its a quiet hike and a cool area for sure. The summit itself and for that matter the views from the ledges are terrible. I don't live for views, so no big deal, but to be on the 52wav list, Hibbard is on borrowed time, imo.
