Liberty springs trail dry till about 1/2 way to ridge. Once you see ice, put on spikes - not much bare trail after that. From tent site to flume - trail seemed to have been packed with snowshoes. Good firm trail for easy hiking. Not sure if it softened up later in the day. Spikes recommended since there is a large section of ice on liberty springs. |
