Comments
Comments: Kearsarge North Trail still had significant ice on the upper part of the trail. We did need our microspikes for the whole upper stretch. Cloudy rainy day, but still gorgeous views on top and from the wonderful fire tower! It is a bit tricky to find the start of the Weeks Brook Trail from the top, but you just go down the ledges and it becomes clear. Otherwise had no problem at all following the Weeks Brook Trail. Found it very enjoyable! Top part of the trail still had significant patches of unstable spring snow. Lower part of trail had some wet areas, but not too bad.
