Barebooted to about 2050 feet. Dumped my snowshoes behind a rock, donned the sharps spikes and kept them on back to the same place. It was winter yesterday, but not today! Track held up nicely for the duration, but was getting soft towards the end. When the snow ends, it really ends. Top section has some good ice still, but the temps made for good traction. Glad I had the good spikes though. Gorgeous day and not too many people! |
