Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A few gloves on the way to lonesome lake that were left on trail. I didn’t see them o. The way down. So I’m guessing they were either found by owners or brought somewhere for retrieval. Check Lost and Found in the Whites page. Also I almost lost my key by taking it out too soon but went back 20 steps and found it.

Comments
Comments: Dry bare trail halfway up to lake then some soft ice then softish snowpack. After hut, more solid snowpack from the new snowfall. I estimate 6” to 8” fell . Some scattered postholing but nothing major. A few sketchy spots where there was steep icy trail. But mostly good traction with just micro spikes. A far cry from last weeks ice fest!! After the warm temps the descent was far more slushy.
