There was a sock on a tree within the last 1/2 mile before the cabin. I did not touch it! :-) |

Bare boots the first 2.4 miles due to varying types of bare ground. Beater spikes to the summit and back to the 2.4 mile mark due to a thin layer of slushy snow over a solid pack. Bunch of deep postholes off-center of trail between the cabin and summit. |
