Comments
Comments: Sunday was a beautiful day for a hike! No wind at the summit, views for miles and miles, tons of sunshine. Had to reapply sunscreen, as there was little shade in the early spring. Great meeting many cool people on the trail. Snow covered trail began around halfway up. I put on microspikes; most folks barebooted up to the AT and added spikes for the 0.2 trail to the summit. Snow was melting fast in the warm temps, and was pretty mushy and slippery on the way down, but more fun than worrisome.
