Comments
Comments: Up Whiteface first..Put spikes on around 3K’.. the ledges were clear of ice & snow but the approaches were icy.. the spikes came on/off a few times.. once over Whiteface they stayed on until below the junction of Rollins & Dicey’s Mill for the walk out…the only area you’ll possibly/probably posthole is the descent off Whiteface..when you reach the ice trail (about 1/3 of the way to Passaconaway), this will be the condition over to Passaconaway…fast!! Ascending from the intersection, up Passaconaway, the ice is more significant….BE ADVISED: rock spikes may not be appropriate gear in this upper section
