Comments
Comments: First half of the hike is easy to navigate. Snow/ice stars at about 2800 ft. We put on micro spikes shortly after snow started. Some tricky spots going up that I wouldn't attempt without traction. Coming back down was sketchy- traction was absolutely necessary. I can't imagine having to go down head-first like the dogs! Views of Washington from the switchbacks and excellent views south at the summit.
