Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery, Slush, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Water Crossing Notes: Easy  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails ingreat shape. A few blowdowns need clearing. Blazes are getting faded, but its a very easy trail to follow.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Shay did awesome downclimbing the ice, he is becoming a seasoned trail dog.

Bugs: Some, not sure what but no bother. 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One glove on the signpost at the start.

Comments: Really nice hike, whoa I forgot how steep this trail is. Last half mile or so was ice, Hillshounds did the trick, I lowered Shay down a few sections descending, but overall he had zero problems.
