Parking/Access Road Notes: The gate was open. There was great rejoicing.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Borderline. We were easily able to hop rocks on the way up with only minor watertopping the toes. On the way back people had added some rotten logs that created a dam I made it much harder to cross.

Comments: It might be easier to list the conditions that we did not see on trail than to list the ones that we did. That means it's spring in NH. You get everything from a dry Trail to mud to solid snow to mashed potatoes. We started fairly early and the trail was very stable but by the time we came down it was starting to get soft with a number of post holes. Your luck may vary. We hiked in bare boots at the beginning and my first spikes once we had the icy sections.
