There are many blowdowns, some are small, but there are some major blowdowns that need work. At the beginning, the sign pointing to UNH trail has been removed. There is a temporary paper sign in its place, but at that junction, it coincides with the ski trail (which has a clear sign). Where it branches from the ski trail, it is marked. On the loop, the mileage on the signs is wrong. I don't know which one is correct, but at the branch, the sign says that the distance to summit turning right is 0.9 miles. 0.3 miles later (as labelled), the sign at Allen's ledge spur says summit is 1.0 mile away, which doesn't make sense. |
