 | Comments: |
Put on Trail Crampons from the Gem pool to Lakes of the Clouds Hut. Then bare booted up Monroe, Washington, and Jefferson crossing several minor snowfields. Overall trails are largely snow-free. Put trail crampons back on for the Jewell from about 4500' to 4000' then off. Except for that one stretch the Jewell Trail is snow-free, although it has a lot of snowmelt running down it above the treeline. Awesome day in the mountains. Congratulations to Mr Robichaud, who now has 100 peaks left on his first grid. |
