First black fly bite of the season. Not too bad yet, but they've arrived. |

Trail was generally dry with the exception of the mud pit about halfway up, which is starting to dry out.
Trailing arbutus and bellwort in bloom.
Warm afternoon with temperatures in the mid 80s, fortunately without the summer humidity. |
