Comments
Comments: FRT to Little Haystack spring conditions with emerging monorail, bare ground and postholes aplenty. LH-Lafayette bare ground for the most part. *When descendingincoln Slide initially there are hip deep spruce traps. Otherwise no issue. LBT was snow free as well as up Owl's Path until the split rock where i put micros on.There are still heavy pockets of snow on the bushwhack over OH to Thirteen Falls.Franconia Brook Trail heading to GRT mostly bare ground until the last .8 miles where it was extremely difficult with multiple collapsing snow bridges often hip deep. GRT was postholed with monrail and the last push up befpre the Tentsite was mostly ice free and a literal waterfall with enough flow to wet my pack. it has subsided by thurs morning by quite a bit.Great conversation with the three others staying in the shelter as well. The water source is flowing well but tree needs to be reset
