Comments
Comments: Hiked up to Lafayette, Lincoln, and then back down to Greenleaf hut to spend the night. First time ever staying in the huts and it was a great experience.

It was alarming that we saw a number of groups who were not prepared for the strenuous hike and were not prepared to be out after dark - because it took them so long, the ridge loop had them hiking down the slippery OBP well after sunset.

I'm sure unprepared folks like that don't check these type of sites, but for experienced hikers, be on the look out for these people and offer advice, information, and tips. Myself and another woman at the hut provided lighting for them to get down the trail that night.
