Comments
Comments: Wonderful day getting caps ridge. Trail was in good shape minus some blow downs. Saw some moose tracks, hair and poop on the trail and no signs of him as n traffic. It was grand. Very minimal snow on trail, caps were overall dry. After summiting Jefferson we headed down the Gulfside trails towards Washington where we split and descended down Jewel. Jewel was the worst stretch and we ended up putting spikes on for about a mile or so. Other than that upper section of typical spring conditions the rest of the trail was beautiful.
