Boott Spur is a great trail! Once you get to the snow it’s a very unstable monorail with waist deep holes in spots. Definitely slows progress but is manageable. Recommend gaiters and poles. Boott Spur Link is dry outside of the trees. In the trees there is still a few feet of snow. I used micro spikes and my poles to get down. Tuckerman’s ravine is dry until the top third that is packed spring snow and ice, traction isn’t necessary. |
