 | Water Crossing Notes: |
I turned back at the main water crossing at the top of the falls, just past the hut. Water was flowing very high and I was by myself. I looked for other spots to cross but nothing looked safe to me. Clearly other people must’ve been taking their chances and making it over but I was not comfortable with it. Jumping onto the wet angled slab is normally not a big deal, but with the water running so much higher is was another story. |

 | Comments: |
As indicated I did not summit the mountain so I can’t comment on any of the conditions past the main water crossing above Zeeland Falls. I wanted to post this mainly to make sure other people are aware of the dangerous, in my opinion, water crossing before attempting this hike while the snow is melting. |
