Comments
Comments: We had planned to do the loop but because we had to walk in 2 miles on the road, we did an out and back. Turned out to be 9.2 miles round trip.
The trails were in pretty good condition considering the sections of rough terrain. The upper section on Percy Peaks Trail was wet and slippery in places. The Ledges to North Percy (one of the Terrifying 25) were 90% dry because of good sun exposure. Used all fours at times. Definitely would not want to tackle the ledges after heavy rain or on a rainy day. The views from the summit are amazing. The spur to South Percy is steep and rocky, but worth the efforts.
